John O'Brien

John O'Brien B.D.S., D.P.D.S., M.A.

Originally from Cardiff and qualified at Guy's Hospital, London, gaining his B.D.S (Lon.) in 1986

He has worked as an associate in Surrey and also in Wrington before setting up this practice in 1995. He gained his D.P.D.S. from the University of Bristol in 2004.In 2017 he gained an MA in Dental Law and Ethics from the University of Beds. (General Dental Council number 61941)

 

Lisa House B.D.S, D.P.D.S. qualified in Bristol in 1998. She worked in Redland and Bedminster before moving to Clevedon in 2003 where she has been a general dental practitioner. Lisa joined this practice in February 2007.

Dental Nurses

Donna Sullivan (GDC No. 120295), Lisa Lovell (GDC No. 120587) and Tess Menhennet (GDC No. 148761) are our fully qualified dental surgery assistants, and will assist the dentists with any treatment you require.

 

 

 

Reception Staff

Fran Lewis, our receptionist, has worked at the practice since it's inception in 1995. 

Tess Menhennet  joined our reception team in 2014, having worked as a Dental Nurse here for several years previously. Donna Sullivan, as well as her role as a dental nurse, also works with the reception team. 

They are available to answer any queries that you may have.


All our staff members have passed enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checks, and clinical staff is fully registered with the General Dental Council. All staff members are trained and updated regularly with respect to our Practice Policies on:

  • Anti-discrimination
  • Equal Opportunities
  • Safeguarding procedures for all vulnerable children and adults
  • Cross-Infection procedures
  • Fire prevention and Safety
  • Emergency Procedures. [Our Medical Emergency training is ongoing, and constantly updated. All staff members attend an annual update course, provided by  First Response]

Full copies of all these policies are kept at the Dental Centre, and can be viewed on request. They are designed to ensure the well-being of all our patients have the best possible treatment and care, and are continually updated.
