Appointments

Appointments can be made by contacting the receptionists via telephone, e-mail, or in person at the practice. Contact Us.

We can provide patients with appointment reminders via text, e-mail, telephone or letter. Our staff will be able to give you further details upon request.

Cancellations

There will be occasions when, for varying reasons, you may not be able to attend the practice at your appointed time. We request that should this be the case, you contact us and inform us as soon as possible, in order that we may offer that appointment to some one who may need it urgently. This can be done by telephone during working hours or via our answerphone at night, where a message can be left. Also we have an e-mail address whereby you can leave a message. These messages are retrieved each morning, and we will contact you to rearrange that appointment at a time more suitable to you.

Missed Appointments

Appointments that are missed, without notifying the practice, will be subject to a charge to cover the surgery costs for that time.

Telephoning the Practice

During working hours, when our receptionists are very busy, we divert calls to a voicemail. This is designed so that you are not kept “on hold” for a long time. Should this happen when you ring, please leave your name and number, and as soon as our receptionist is free, she will return your call. We apologise for this delay, but feel that by doing this you will not need to be kept waiting whilst our receptionists are dealing with other patients.
